Do you still know somebody without a cell phone?

Even when we go skiing, a cell phone is the most carried personal object! This is why VISOR designs its jackets with a special pocket made for your phone. Although you would think that the location of this pocket doesn’t really matter, we think it does! This pocket must be easy to reach and must keep your personal belongings safe and dry.

The cell phone pocket in a VISOR jackets is situated at chest height on the right side. This location was chosen for a couple of reasons.
The consideration is protection! Your personal belongings need to be as safe as possible and the best position to store your most valuable items is at chest height on the front of your body. When you fall while skiing you have the least chance of falling forward on the chest and face. Your instincts will always try to rule out this position but if you do, you will automatically try to break your fall and protect yourself with your hands.
The second reason to engineer the phone pocket at this location is the reachability of the phone. Even when we are skiing and we want to pick up our phone when it rings. Chest height pockets are easy to reach and open.
The last major reason to place the pocket on the right side of the chest is maybe the most important reason. Your hart is located a bit to left side of your body. Although it is not completely proven, we don’t think that a permanent radio signal directly on top of your hart is good for you. This is why VISOR choses to place the phone pocket on the right side. It should make more sense to place it on the left because more people are right-handed but VISOR doesn’t want to take any risks.

VISOR integrates the human anatomy to create the most comfortable and the best possible technical products.
